Majestic Tumeric Chicken

Came across this recipe over the weekend. Tumeric Chicken. 

 The recipe looks interesting enough, so we are making it today for the Shepherd’s Dinner.

Definitely a keeper ! It tastes great with hot steaming rice!

Chicken Pie Night

I felt like chicken pie. My all time favorite. Since I was a kid. The last time I made it was November last year – stressful time, 

This time round, we made our own pastry and it was wonderful. 

For the pastry:

200g butter

250g plain flour

110g plain yoghurt

1 tsp sugar

1 egg yolk

a pinch of salt

Put all ingredients into the mixing bowl except yoghurt and mix to crumble

Add in yoghurt and mix to a dough

Dough will be very soft so need to keep in the freezer for 30 minutes and another 30 minutes in the chiller

Minestrone with pesto …. And some alphabets 😝

I have just started cooking again for my Shepherds. This is really an act of …. Reconciliation. Long story. 

Anyway today we are trying out a new soup. Minestrone with Pesto.

Here are our ingredients. I modified it just a bit cause I was too lazy to go search for zucchini. 


Substituted with sweet potatoes ( instead of potatoes) & white radish  (in place of zucchini). Ok so it isn’t the same. But who cares!
